the water shimmers
in the golden sunlight
 
shimmers, like
sparkly diamonds
 
real gems
don't look as bright
 
and these "diamonds"
are free to everyone
 
but look,
when the sun is gone
 
the shimmers
are too
 
the water diamonds
are gone
 
tomorrow they will
shimmer again
 
as our gift from the sun,
while it shines high above
